THANK YOU for a magical adventure

What a ride! Last weekend's event was absolutely magical for me, and I hope for you too.
The idea of a three day weekender event, featuring world class talent in Happy Hardcore and DnB, and coupled with a playable live-action RPG, was an ambitious dream, but together as a community we made it happen, and I'll cherish the memories for a lifetime.
Photos and videos of the event are being shared in our Discord server.
I want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in making it happen. This was very much a collective effort that drew on people from across Toronto's underground rave community. I cannot stress enough how fortunate we are to have such a capable, passionate, adaptable, and caring group of people. Raving in this city is in excellent hands.
In particular, I'd like to thank:
- All of our very talented DJs and performers, with a particular shoutout to our headliners Joey Riot, Jimni Cricket, and ESKEi83, all of whom travelled a long way to showcase some of the best DJing in the world for us and all of whom are also wonderful people and true ravers at heart;
- The staff at Wiggle Room, Super Wonder Gallery, and on the Obsession III, for welcoming us into your spaces and letting us (mostly) get away with a wild event;
- Fuel Cell Sound System, for bringing the noise and the skill and for rolling with the challenges;
- Uphoric Vibes, for creating magical lighting experiences on very short notice and tight deadlines;
- XD Events, for pumping up the sound on board the boat;
- Emi, the incomparable artist, for a truly iconic flyer design;
- Niikkii Tee, for being a steady rock of support in many different ways and through many different challenges (and for a baller set on Friday);
- Thadea Decora, for bringing an actual fucking dragon to life;
- Golden Artist, for being a core support of the community and bringing creativity and joy to the RPG, plus such a warm and lovely opening set on Sunday;
- All of the volunteers who rose to the challenge of doing logistics, setup, and making the RPG happen;
- Chris at Dance Hard Collective, who in particular went over and above the call of duty and without whom this event would simply not have happened;
- Toronto's ravers, who have been - for my entire 20+ years of raving - the kindest, most up-for-it, most inclusive, realest, most joyful ravers to be found anywhere on the planet. I am so proud to be part of this community.
If you're not in our Discord server yet, it's a great space for conversation, sharing pics and videos, and keeping up with events - we have an event calendar anyone can add to, and hundreds of ravers use the space to keep in touch with each other. I am pleased to be resting and recovering for a while; I won't be doing a rave on that scale for a while yet, but I have a few smaller events planned for the next few months, then will be taking a break for a while starting in March to welcome a new baby (yay!). When I return from that, well, maybe there's enough energy in there to put together Vinyl Fantasy 2. We'll see (no promises lol). In the meantime, thank you so much once again - this event was a dream come true and wouldn't have been possible without the whole community being involved.
Much love and happy rave! <3
