Pride + July Events
Hello friends, happy Pride! Lots on the go so I'll dive right in.
Toronto Pride is NOW!
I'm so excited to celebrate/protest with so many of you this weekend! I'll be downtown most of the weekend for work (and play) and would love to see you - if you'll be around and want to catch up, chat in our Discord or text me! Otherwise I'll just generally be around, handing out flyers and participating in the festivities and protests. A few key events:
Friday: I'll be generally around Church Street doing flyering for most of the afternoon, then at 7 heading to the Trans Rally and March for the duration of it. After that I'll aim to catch some of the Rave Alarm stream and then get some rest before the big marathon days.
Saturday: I expect to head back downtown pretty early and to be out and about flyering and wandering all day long. I have a private gig that night (sorry!) so I'll be hidden away from 8pm onward.
Sunday: I'll be downtown all afternoon again, making sure to catch Audi Etoffe's set at the OLG stage at 5pm and then gearing up for my set on the South Riser from 7:30 to 9pm! I never know for sure what I'm gonna play til I start playing, but given the timeslot and staging (and my history lol) I think you can expect something pretty high energy and cheesy.

Midsummer's Night Dream - Sat July 5th & Sun July 6th: I'm playing an extended dirty electro and dancey house set at this amazing kinky campout event!
Cute Little Summer Rave - Saturday, July 12th at Toronto Chaatwala [250 Dundas West]: Very excited to be hosting a cute little summer rave at our beloved Toronto Chaatwala! I'll be spinning alongside some of my fave DJs in Toronto - Stella Maise, Niikkii Tee, and the legendary DJ Virus! Event is pay what you can, as usual for this series, but the proceeds this time (if any) will go towards gear repair. I lend out my gear for free to a lot of protests, community events, and raves; I like doing that and will continue doing it, but I have spent almost a thousand bucks on gear repairs and replacements so far this year and I gotta feed a kid too lol. So rather than charge for rentals, I'm doing this instead. :)
Biidaasige Park Opening Ceremony - Sunday, July 20th 2 to 5 PM: Toronto's new park is the first thing to open on the freshly reconstructed island at the base of the Don Valley, which will eventually be a whole new neighbourhood of the city. They've asked me to play a family-friendly set of tunes to kick things off. Come by with the fam and dance in the sun!
R.A.G. Volume 6 - Thursday, July 31st 8PM at The Wych: Join me and Gobs for our monthly hangout at The Wych, which now has patios open for the summer! Bring your own records, art supplies, and games, or use ours - we'll have plenty of each! It's a cool summer evening with friends and tunes and fun!
Sneak peak at Vinyl Fantasy
Save the date - Labour Day weekend, we'll be bringing you a major streak of fun, with three big events featuring three big international headlining DJs and an interactive rave RPG you can play while you dance! I'll have another newsletter out soon to you with the full details, but til then, here's a little sneak peak at one of the headliners in action, blending DMC turntablism with DnB grooves. Stay tuned for the full announcement of all three Vinyl Fantasy events!
